Royce O’Neale was born June 5, 1993
in Killeen, Texas.


He graduated from Harker Heights High School, Harker Heights, Texas and received full basketball scholarships to attend Denver University, Denver, CO (2011-2013).

Royce transferred to Baylor in 2013 Waco, TX, to complete his college career.  

During his time at Baylor, Royce became the first player in Baylor Men’s basketball program to have 200 rebounds and 200 assists in one season.  

He also made two consecutive NCAA appearances (Elite 8 2014 and Sweet 16 2015).  

Royce went undrafted in 2015.  

He played for the Boston Celtics during the NBA summer league that year but took his talent overseas to play for Riesen Ludwigsburg, Ludwigsburg, Germany.  

He returned to the states after the season ended and played for the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2016 NBA Summer League.  

In 2016 Royce went back overseas and joined Gran Canaria for the 2016-2017 basketball season where he helped his team win the Spanish Supercup.  

In the summer of 2017 Royce returned home and played for the New Orleans Pelicans NBA Summer League.  


The Utah Jazz signed him to a 3year deal during the 2017 NBA Summer League.
